This time I’m looking at some useful style boards that could be used to generate ideas for an autumn wardrobe. According to the telly, we’re enjoying the last few warm days of the year, so unless you’ve already come prepared, it’s time to think about the colder season. These boards have been pinched from Twitter, Instagram and other sources. Let me know what you think.
Silver and Black
A great autumn style board by my Twitter friend Evil Queen Fashionista (she’s not that evi, you know). A very welcome swim against the tide, this one. I’m fed up with the “layer this and layer that” idea – makes you look like an onion.
This is all you need to look like a cool biker girl this autumn. Just don’t forget what I said about wearing boots.
Gold and Bling
If you have the luxury of not having to layer on dozen of garments this autumn, have a look at the style board created by Baller Alert. Although the overall feeling is that it’s full of gold, once you start looking at the details, you’ll notice that it’s not what you’d call gold overkill.
It’s the shades of green, brown and copper that come together and create a great gold effect. And yes, you noticed right, these are Brian Atwood stilettoes.
Although this has been created around a year ago, some things stay fresh, including camo. Yes, it goes out and back into fashion but you can rarely go wrong with a bit of camo.
The most unusual item in this collection is Charlotte Russe high heel shoes. This is not your normal spikes. Not only it’s a hybrid with platforms, it’ also a camo – brilliant.
Animal Prints for Autumn
A great fashion board from TCHantx, very autumny but not too layered, which I like. If you deconstruct it, this style board is as classic as you can get but it’s in the detail.
Add animal print scarf and handbag, match the accessories and you’ve got a delightful set.
