I’ve always believed that fashion design should firstly serve a purpose. Unfortunately, many designers introduce new elements (they think they “innovate”) that make absolutely no sense. You can’t mess with a garment solely because you want to make something different from your competitor.
Penguin Wedge
I consider “penguin wedges” or “penguin flaps” one of the biggest fashion crimes. People who’ve invented this should go to a fashion jail!
It may look interesting when the coat sits on a hanger but once you’re wearing it you probably have no idea that you look like a dork from behind.
Not only you look like a dork, a penguin wedge makes your legs look fatter and shorter than they actually are. Ditch it, dear!
